Ahoy AudioJunglists!
We’re working our way through a pretty big improvement to our upload process, and we were hoping you could be the ones to help us with a very early phase 1 beta.
The new upload page is over here and we’ll be adding an extra link to it on the author dashboard this afternoon.
The current version of the form is our proof of concept multiple page version of uploading – where all the heavy work of processing the submitted files happens in the background (rather in the minutes you sit there waiting for the current form).
At the moment it doesn’t do anything fancier than the current upload form (other than be split in half), but in the future, it’s going to allow us to do cool stuff like automatically extract id3 tags and other meta data from files and pre-populate the item attributes. We wanted to beta launch it before we added the extra magic in just to make sure we got all the fundamentals rock solid.
So yeah, we’d really appreciate if you could help us out and try the form out and give us some feedback: please keep in mind that it’s a work in progress and might have the odd bug or UI problem.
If it’s giving you any trouble, you can still use the ordinary upload form at any time.
Just uploaded a track and it worked like a charm. No problems whatsoever, at least on my end…
Looking good!
Liking the new upload page! Everything seems to work fine over here.
Hi, I uploaded a new track yesterday, all ok, works)) Thank you!
I tried it out and it seems to work fine!

I upload the track. Everything works well. Only a huge difference in comparison with the old form did not notice.
Hi, I posted my latest submission without problem.
However, I was used to fill in the description fields during the file uploads, thus making the most of the upload time. With the new system it seemed very long to wait for the completion before being able to go on and enter my description.
I think it would be great to have access on the first page to the fields that cannot be automatically retrieved, such as detailed description and tags
