AudioJungle Collections - We Need Your Support!

Hey guys,

I will be putting together several new AudioJungle collections throughout the year which highlight the very best audio on AJ. Just another way to promote your outstanding audio. I really need your support to make this work however. If ever you see a new collection, like the Cinematic Masterpieces collection, I’d really appreciate it if you rated it 5/5. Even if your music is not featured in this collection, it really helps promote AudioJungle throughout all the marketplaces: The higher these collections get rated, the more exposure we get and the potential for new customers to discover YOUR music (even if it’s not in the collection) increases.

I’ve already seen some people give low ratings to these kind of collections which disappoints me because we’re a community and we should be supporting one another with things like this. Everyone is free to rate a collection as high or as low as they want, of course! But it seems a shame to me when people in our own marketplace/community try to sabotage such collections.

Finally, if ever I create/publish specialized collections and your audio is not featured, please do not be afraid to write to me and ask me to check out and consider your audio, I would be delighted to consider adding it to the collection! In fact, a few people did this with the Christmas & Holiday collection, and someone only this morning told me about one of their cinematic pieces that I took a listen to and then added it to the collection. I’m very proud of the high standard of audio on AudioJungle and in 2010 we will be doing everything we can to promote and market your work as effectively as possible. Hey Saare, Thanks for the feedback. Could you expand on why you would want to rate the collection 1 out of 5 or why you think that might help? The collection helps promote ALL of AudioJungle’s audio, irrespective of whose audio is used. There’s no conspiracy about using certain author’s music, I simply add what is in my opinion, the best audio that I think needs raising to the surface for customers to enjoy and purchase. I spend a lot of time scouring relevant genres to pick out what I think is best for our customers. If there are any tracks you think I may have overlooked you are very welcome to write to me personally as in my previous post and let me know what those tracks are, I would be glad to consider them!

Sorry but thats an incredibly selfish reason to rate it 1. You’re saying you rated it 1`because theres too much popular music in there that sells well and not enough that isn’t selling well. Popular tracks are popular because people usually spend a lot of time creating them and have been composing for a while. Unpopular tracks speak for themselves in the same way. I think its very unfair for you to rate a collection of good/popular tracks 1, simply because theres no unpopular tracks in there. Chances are if they are unpopular they’re not great tracks in the first place (in most cases), so by rating the popular ones 1, you’re in effect offending the people who have spent a lot of their time on their tracks.

If you think tracks are missing, advise Scott – don’t just shrug it off and try to make sure it doesnt do well.

I don’t mean to sound offensive here at all, you just have a fairly bad attitude
