Any news on updates to item comments?

Any external support forum draws users away from themeforest, so I think it should be in themeforests’ very own interest to improve the support functionality as soon as poosible.

From my perspective, it would be a big (the biggest) improvement if authors had the ability to assign a userrole “support staff” to other themeforest members, while keeping their own account (earnings, portfolio, ...) out of sight of contributors. I’ve already worked in big web projects (OK not as big as TF), and think that little tweaks like this one would be far better than queueing a giant release for months/years.

edit: ... as well as verify item purchases :)

Yeah, I’ve been dreaming of something like this but I’m not holding out hope any longer. After over a year of waiting for an update on the improvements to the comments area to find out it’s not yet even formally in the planning stage. I’m just very upset about the situation and will do my own thing for support from now on.

Simple Enable/Disable in the Item Edit Screen with a field to add your Forums URL :

This could literally be done within a day.

If not in a day it could be done rather easily, compared to revamping the entire support system.
