Short after I published my first template here at ThemeForest I got contacted by a competitor. They offer 50% of every sale. They start selling site templates from $1 though, which is way too low. In my opinion even many TF templates are underpriced already. Also I doubt they have a visitors/clients volume comparable to ThemeForest.
