Almost 800,000 members!

It’s a huge milestone for the eight marketplaces, equivalent to 100,000 members per marketplace but we all know that users use more than one marketplace.

Very exciting prospects for authors throughout the marketplaces.

Hooray! Better not advertise it though as you know… The more members the more likely spam will start showing up.

There has been a lot of money that has circulated across Envato, in at least eight figures throughout the years. I would presume at least 70% of users on Envato are paying users due to the addictiveness of high quality content that is available.

Well, there might be multiple accounts, but it’s no harm to say users – I mean, look at Facebook, they claim 600 million active users yet that could not be entirely true.

And active buyers?

I guarantee that 200000 members cant remember the name of this site.

AA-Team: With the amount of money people are making, it would be pretty safe to say there are a lot of active buyers circulating throughout the marketplace. Not everyone needs to buy something on a active basis (depends on what you define an ‘active user’ as) so it would not matter having active buyers as people only buy when and as they need it, not when a new item comes on for sale.

ThemeProvince: And how exactly can you guarantee that? Or is that merely a ‘figure of speech’?

Most people who sign up only come for one theme for their site. Once purchased they may ask a couple of support questions. Then they will never return. A lot of the members have never made a purchase, they would sign up and just not be active i tend to do that a lot. Plus people advertise their themes through their websites.

I think we’ll reach the 800K mark by Thursday, at a estimated growth rate of 1,000/signups daily.
