It seems in the terms too that there’s a 30 day money back guarantee. (Bit like the 30 day trial is to the standard Creative Suite). After that, if you cancel the subscription to Creative Cloud before the full year is up, you are obliged to pay 6 months worth apparently.
I also enquired and to install in a certain language, your OS needs to be in that language. So I guess if you want French Ae on an English system of something like that, you’re going to need to temporarily switch the OS language.

I thought they were going to be offering a monthly option where if you decide to not use it for an entire month, so long as you don’t actually use the software, you wouldn’t have to pay. Kind of like pay for only the months you need the software. I mean I can’t think of 1 month in the last 10 years where I hadn’t needed to open an Adobe program, but still would be nice.

Oh scratch that, I see the month-to-month subscription is $75. But curious Felt, when you signed up for the yearly subscription, do they bill you month to month, and just have you contractually obligated into the year? Or do you need to pay the full $600-ish upfront?

You pay month to month. (And as usual in Europe, it costs much more.
)
I tell ya what though… if you’re running a small studio and need some extra capacity for a couple of weeks, that monthly option’s gonna come in real handy.
