A thought for those in Italy (Earthquake)

I hope everyone’s OK! It seems like such a horrid experience, such natural violence. Nowhere to go and noone to hold accountable (if only for your psychological wellbeing). Just destruction, within seconds. Horrible.

I live in Northern Italy and it was pretty horrible… Glad nothing happened to me and my family.. Theyre more than 15 victims now… Poor people…

You guys are right – something’s going on on our ex-green planet at the moment.. The nature is going to take it’s place again i think – the age of humans is about to end.

I have my doubts about this. There was an investigation in Italy after a medium earthquake that killed a lot of people a couple of years ago. The authorities believed that the cement produced by a big company in Italy was intentionally made without respecting the safety standards and had a low resistance. Even if the construction was build to resist more powerful earthquakes it got destroyed at a relatively low earthquake because the cement was not standard. Don’t know how this investigation ended unfortunately.

The Government? Sure. Haha The “rich” people, the politicians and precious scientists are going to survive, the normal people will die – that’s how it would be.

I’d rather build my own ark out of wood and plastic than wait for the government to rescue us all…

It is obvious to expect that as long as rapid ice melt and sea level increase happens, earth’s crust will be less stable than usual.

just saying that because you feel terrified. Had that feeling too We are still new in this world, and we have still many thousands of years to live.
