Hi,
I have a 3d model which I imported into photoshop as a 3D layer, I saved this as a psd and imported this psd in After Effects. The compilation consisted of three files, Camera-Layer and Layer Controller.
Now I wanted to add a motion to a part of the 3d model, So I exported that part of the 3d model as a psd, imported this into after effects and placed it over the part of the original (full) model. I made the motion and I linked the part to the full model, But when I change the X or Y, the “motion part” sticks to the “full model” but it always faces the active cam, It doesnt change to the position the “full model” (linked as parent) is facing.
How can I change this? How can I add a motion element to a 3d model imported via photoshop?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I am working with 3D layers, If I look at your video, What I mean is, how did you link the videos (which are playing in the iphone) to the iphone (I assume the iphone is a 3d model)?

Asking too much
but it’s ok no one teach me how, i will teach you
First you need to cut your model in PS where do you think to place video in AE, then insert in AE first layer of your model in timeline, second layer video. then select both and PRE -COMPOSE it to get one composition name it PLACEHOLDER1 , after that drop PLACEHOLDER1 into new comp, turn on 3D for that composition and turn on continuosly rasterize. Create cam and spin object XYZ
