I think it’s fair because there is no support to provide, these are sales you most likely wouldn’t have made and, if you have more than one item, you could end up selling more of your items to those who like your item.

Just to clear it up – authors get paid a percentage of the total sales of the bundle – I’m not sure if I can share the exact terms and of course I can’t speak directly for them, but I believe most authors involved would say it’s fair

Sorry I can’t share the exact details, but I can say being in the bundle is voluntary (the authors can say no if they don’t like the terms – which hasn’t happened yet), I’m sure most would agree that it’s a good deal and looking at stats sales for authors in the bundle go up the month following as well.
