This idea has been done a million times already and your project isn’t bringing anything new to the table.The design and camera movements are very simple and unpolished.

I wouldn’t call him a thief.This is perfectly fine and good for the marketplace and authors.

If i would have to say something negative,it would be the “spammy” approach of these channels.Large quantities of .flv’s ripped and uploaded without proper descriptions.

I’ll turn my boat around and suggest you upload the new version as a new project.

I think combining the two versions in to one download could get confusing and you probably wouldn’t get as much value as you will when they are sold separately.

What is the new version compatible with? I’m just thinking in terms of the buyers,if you have 2 different versions that work with different releases of AE that might get confusing.

It’s pretty obvious you have put in a lot of work on this new version – not just a minor fix or a small update.It’s like the whole thing has been re-done from scratch,only much better.

I think updating is fine.I understand the temptation of having “Epic Digital Distortion 2” with new hype and sales BUT it might kill the sales of the original.

Currently you have a very popular file and if you update it,it will have all the visibility / customer base of the old one.I also see updating as a “thank you” to buyers,responding to their requests and giving something back for all their support.

I do think you should ask for a price increase though
