In fact, if you choose one of them to be default posts page(like you are currently doing), it won’t show any posts. That setting needs to be blank in my themes..

How does your WP query look like?

Why you do not create a shortcode for Blog (also Portfolio). Also you can add unlimited blogs and portfolios anywhere.

Ex. [blog cat=”4” layout=”modern” count=”10” pagenavi=”on” tags=”on” etc…]

It is not quick solution, maybe you can do it next one

I actually do have it, but I don’t think its really a native solution for WordPress. I would like to use the WordPress core functionality if it allows.
