AJ has given no word of even considering allowing composers to publish PRO registered works and it has been on the table for well over a year like you said.

Envato does realize that they could get a 50% chunk of the royalties as the “publisher” of the music right? It’s ridiculous in the first place that they opt out of the PRO collection process just so they can keep the label of “royalty free” and not confuse buyers into thinking they might have to pay some phantom royalties on the music. Even sillier considering they themselves lose out on the revenue stream too, not just the artist.

Sounds to me like that laptop will be plenty good enough. I just got a macbook pro i7 2.2 quad core and its way more than enough power for sketching ideas and sometimes making full songs. Even with more ram heavy libraries it never hickups. im actually thinking about downgrading to a i5 13 inch macbook
