I’ve been subscribing to Creative Cloud for several months now, and love it. The software is always up to date with the newest version, and no huge bank-breaking one-time investments.

Yes, they do sell reasonably well, it’s a good way to start as a themeforest author before you get bombarded with support related questions and queries.
Yeah, maybe you are right. Will look into that. And maybe soon start learning PHP. Looks like that’s where the big bucks are. Haha…

For a start why don’t you just sell “website psd’s”?
Hadn’t really thought about that… do they sell well? Designing a website is a lot more time consuming than designing a brochure or a magazine template – for me at least. So for me to do that, they would have to sell like hot cakes… or let’s maybe say, like ThemeForest templates! haha.. .

Did you say getting $10K a month? wow, that’s a great goal, I wish you all the success.
I envy themeforest authors who become elite in 2 months time![]()
Yes, getting 10K a month seems like a nice goal. I’m 15% there
And yes!! I envy TF authors too. They sell like crazy… that’s why I have to start learning PHP. I can easily design websites (do that already), I’m just not a programmer. But maybe I can be?
My goal is to make GR (and maybe later TF) into my main job. Just gotta learn myself PHP then, I suppose
But it’s a slow process, finding time to create GR items – and thereby increase my earnings enough for that to happen, when I’m also working full time with other graphic jobs.
A rough estimate based on my current items and earnings, tells me I have to have at least 100 items in my portfolio, before it’s a viable full time income. Then I’d be making about 10K a month, based on the average per item I have now.
A goal I’ve reached: Getting featured. Yay!
Getting to top 50 or 10 is not important to me. The income is – would love to make this my main business.

It’s just a card total limit of $10,000.
Ahhh! It suddenly makes a whole lot more sence. Thanks for clearing that up – let the earnings begin
I’m actually pretty interested in hearing about this too… in case I ever make that much in here.
But the thought of that limit, has crossed my mind. Can one get mulitple Payoneer Cards, in case one does not want to use Swift/Bank transfers?
Yes, I was the featured author on GR a few weeks (maybe a month) ago. And although I really appreciated the attention and “advertisement”, it had no effect on my sales what so ever.
I was actually really surprised by this. When I got word, that I would be featured, I thought that would definitely boost sales, and make a mark on the sales graphs. But no such luck
I don’t think there really is a solution for this. PS and ID are very different programs in the way they work. Also, a lot of the things you can create and do in Indesign, you can’t (or won’t work) in Photoshop – and vice versa.
I have created a few flyers as both Indesign and Photoshop versions – but it’s really a lot of extra work. What I did, was create the flyer in Indesign, export it as a PDF, then open it in Photoshop, and use it as a faded out background to do the design once more on top of, in Photoshop.
So I created everything again in Photoshop, with the PDF as a help guide in the background. I really can’t think of any easier way to do this… anyone?
