That’s exactly where I was going to I can image first 5 comments on our newly released theme “I’d buy it if it was GPL.”...

I don’t believe that the average buyer has an idea of what GPL is or that it does matter for him.. Because the GPL thing came from wp.org not from the buyers..

Actually I’m pretty sure the average buyer simply doesn’t care about licenses and doesn’t read them, he/she wants to buy theme and setup a website, that’s all.

Actually my advice would be to buy just body and something better than kit-lense, even if it means you need to buy some older camera or 2nd hand. It will give you better results.

I’ve recently switched from 350D ( ) to 650D with Canon EF 24-105 mm f/4L IS USM and it’s amazing. But yes, touch screen is not really needed, and doesn’t help with anything, it takes the same time to set what you need using buttons. And auto video focus is slow and loud.. I prefer to change it manually, but the quality of movies is just wow. And flip-out screen is very useful. I’ve bought 650D with intention to record better movies, but you still could do the same with 600D. Anyway, what matters is what lens you’ve got

$50 is a bit too much if there are cheaper alternatives..

Actually it’s 99$ and believe me I’m not someone who likes to throw away money I did my research and it’s worth it (for me at least)

Except the big changes with Twitter API 1.1 that somehow everybody decided to remove from their themes there’s another big thing for some of us, WooCommerce 2.0 was released yesterday. Would be nice to have it available in “Compatible With” section of WordPress themes!
