Activeden really needs a clean up. Support should remove like 30% of the files here on activeden.

I think this marketplace has been declining recently due to the very low quality/originality of the files, i mean, in the last months I’ve seen like 10 great files and 100000 crapy files, when an author like you marcfolio, does something different an great with a video player for example, buyers simply think “Oh, another video player”, they won’t even see it most of the times because they have seen dozens in the last weeks that don’t add anything to activeden

I think that with this new rules of the “Files we already have plenty of”, this marketplace will raise the sales again

long overdue, glad the decision has finally been made… now we need to look at removing some of the older files that dont sell that dont bring anything to the marketplace or are of a much lower quality…

This is part of a much bigger plan to clean up our current library and make sure it’s much better from now on. The files we do/don’t need is phase one. Deleting lower quality files is phase two. Phase three will be another big jump in quality standards. Exciting stuff ahead.

Man, this is great news, thanks for doing this. This is really a motivation for us authors to improve our current files, activeden really needs some big cleanup, the last week have been awfull, most of the last files don’t had anything to activeden.

Best idea in quite some time. Really fed up of having the main page full of preloaders and image banners that add nothing to activeden.

You can allways ask the author of this file to do that for you, of course you’ll have to pay an extra.
