When you’re uploading your “initial” portfolio, yes, it has to be zipped. When you’ll get permission to submit files on PhotoDune, you can upload just jpegs.

After initially going nowhere with my first .ftp upload, I am now attempting to upload my first five images individually on the web platform (the page you come to after completing the quiz, titled “Upload your portfolio”). Having selected 5 photos, I then press ‘upload’. But I’m then told my files are not in .zip format. Is this not the right place to upload jpegs? Or must jpegs be uploaded in .zip format?

Thanks. Was I wrong in assuming I can process the images after uploading? Once uploaded, are they now in the hands of the inspectors to decide whether they meet the right standards?

I have successfully uploaded my first batch of images for sale via ftp. I now need to process them. When I follow links to the author dashboard, I arrive at this page: http://photodune.net/make_money/become_an_author I can’t see anywhere on this page to process uploaded images. Instead, it looks like a signup page, and I’ve already become a member. Any advice on the next step would be welcomed. I have found this site remarkably complicated and confusing.
