Even after being an author for more than a year, I had a hard time passing it when setting up another account.
I’m in Kansas, but if a large enough group was getting together, I would seriously consider making a trip down.
Congrats! Look forward to your “pimpin’” work!
Love it. I hope that the categories browser (shown in the screenshots) will also be more accessible. I just spent 5 minutes trying to find the current one.
Yes, I still get excited (and anxious) when I submit items.
Looks much better now!
Yeah it seems broken. On Code Canyon, if I select “Plugins” on the home page, my latest item doesn’t show, even though it’s the fourth newest item in the plugins category. It almost looks like the files shown are the the newest items (one each) from the 40 newest authors. Is that right? If so, that seems completely broken. It should be the 40 newest items with a max of one per author.
Nope, never had that happen.
mordauk saidHow’s that going for you ? Does it bring you a lot of traffic ? Do you host on WP extend or on your site ? I have a few plugins on wp extend but not a lite version of any of my premium ones. Do you think it’s a good idea ?
I’ve done it with several of my items. To the best of my knowledge there is nothing wrong with this, assuming they are distinctly different versions.
I host them on WP extend and also on my site. Having lite versions definitely helps. I have a lot of people that download the free one and then decide to go ahead and upgrade to the pro. Also, by hosting the lite version on WP extend, a lot of traffic is pushed to my site where I’m also displaying the pro versions, so more traffic is then directed to my pro item pages.
I’d say go for it.
