I just downloaded a file there and all it says in the read me file is “This pack is license by Creative Commons License.”
not very helpful if it doesn’t tell you the exact licence conditions
Here are examples of how they should be displayed http://creativecommons.org/licenses/
Maybe you should email support and ask them…. and then leave the answer here for others to see.
Yeah I would just like to know what exactly is wrong because as I have pointed out in my first point I can not see why it was hard rejected.
Reason given by our item inspector:
Unfortunately your submission doesn’t meet our current minimum technical quality requirements for the category it was submitted to. Please consider taking some time to familiarize yourself with our current library and quality levels of popular items before resubmitting.
A pack using the same standards and styles has of mine has already been accepted ‘my latest item’ so why is this not allowed when it is a continuation of that pack?
I have also just had a look at some the latest submissions into the button category and some are way below the standard I submitted.
I do wish reviewers would tell you exactly why instead of giving a generic response email… very disheartening to say the least when you get rejected like this.
Is there anyway of getting a reason of a review or better yet if the review is seeing this could you mail me a reason for the rejection.
Completely disagree with you on this izzy
Facebook compresses the images that you put up including your cover photo, doubling the size of the image causes the compressor to give better quality as it is now working with double the amount of pixels.
Here is a an image uploaded at 851px widehttp://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/292655_10150779015939618_536059617_9084189_89604011_n.jpg
and here is the 1702px wide versionhttp://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/465804_10150779015604618_536059617_9084188_141354401_o.jpg
you will notice a sharper image in the 1702px version
I myself have tested it and there is a big difference
even if a client is complaining you should try and get the highest quality possible
1702×630px 72dpi is the size you want to upload
as for the dpi I agree it is not much use in web but what people do is they create a file at 72dpi and then increase the dpi by image resizing which in turn increases the file pixel size.
The file should be 72DPI for web use, the file that is up at 300DPI should be reported so the author can fix it.
I dont think this kind of post is allowed on these forums
