I need a designer who can design a theme that would have different backgrounds. This means that the colors have to be really, really well blended in order for the wallpapers to stand out. Examples. www.ign.com www.gamespot.com.

You can get a flat fee, $100 Max. Or You can get a percent wise fee. You can contact some references if you do not trust this. But you will get 20% what I make each month. Here’s some details regarding the blog/site

The website will be similar to Psdtuts.com. It will have ad spaces on the site and will use BuysellAds.com I will provide a detailed plan later on, if you adhere the percentage method. For now you only need to know that it will work similar to PSDTUTS . It will pay it’s users per post. It will not be same market as PSDTUTS , meaning nothing like tutorials. It will be in technology niche, but it will be scoped in a smaller, more easier market. I am developing a marketing plan soon. I need a designer first before I can do anything as of now.

Reply here. You must have some Wordpress work done in past.

Thanks! Bhargav.

Update: I will pick a person tomorrow but, if you know a programmer (experienced in PHP and other languages) who wants to partner up for 25% let me know. The PHP coder I know right now is kind of slow. I want to push the app out ASAP .

Let me know please. I am only going for someone who is able to produce cool slick interface. If you know how to make icons.. its a plus!

Yes Contracts are good. I would like to make contracts of course. But co-founder in my terms does not mean they have any rights in the company but still will receive 25% percent. I don’t want anyone to hinder my ideas and decisions. But, still give them what co-founders get.

I am working on a project. I have one co-founder who is a coder and will work on the script. I have experience in designing, but not really fluid with it. I am really good in Marketing, PR, Innovation and so forth. I already have a marketing plan for my website. A huge company who has a really strong user base will help me out in marketing on their website as well as on their youtube channel which holds more than 70 thousand subscribers. A friend from that company is also a marketing genius. He will offer his services for free.

If anyone is interested in receiving 25% of monthly revenue contact me via here. We are not chasing advertisement revenues because they are really slow and no one clicks ads these days as much as before. I am trying to create a web app that helps people, without using cheap tricks to get them to click on ads. We are going by monthly subscription fees (we have various plans).

I will also handle the website fees which means costs of hosting, domains, registration fees and, additional scripts (ticket systems for support etc). I will also have to upgrade hosting as we grow our small little business.

Co-founders are important, I want them to help with things I cannot do. Here are some qualities that I definitely lack in.

- UI Design. - Color pallet (color pallet is like taste pallet you gotta know what you want… I don’t) - Web 2.0 design techniques - Innovative (Not the next entrepreneur, innovative in designing interface)

You must know that this is not partnership for one site. This is partner ship for all the projects I come up with. I have tones of ideas. But I know ideas get people no where. I have experience in marketing and using unorthodox ways of communicating our message. More like subliminal ways ;)

Thanks! Bhargav

Thanks Jeffrey and everyone who helped. I already have something that will set me apart. Now I do not know whether I should use wordpress, A CMS or an HTML site. I want to have a portal kinda thing where a user can have my site Account. They can download freewares, have forums .I want to link the forums member system into the site how can I do that? I seen that on Techspot.com. When one signs up on the forums, they can login to the site from the main page also. I was also wondering what they are using. I think they are using a CMS but I cannot find which one. Does anyone know what?

I was going for something like Techspot.com. It looks really similar to that. And I just stumbled upon it today. Now I have to work on a new design in order for me to not look like a copier….......

Thanks for all the reviews. Should I use wordpress or an html site. Wordpress is really evolving and I think it might be easy because with html, it would be hard to put links to posts in pages. It’ll be just too much work when there are reviews banging out each day.

Thanks. My main goal is not to actually get sponsors. But I am just wondering how to approach that. I mean, on my old site people liked my game reviews and stuff. I’ve gotten positive response on that. I know people like my writing. I am just wondering how I can make my self different from others. And draw more traffic than the “normal sites”. And I don’t care about products and freebies also. I am willing to buy games and review them. Products are just out of my league. But, most companies send their products for a review. All we have to do is email them, provide them with Facts and statistics. And you get their PR usually sends product. I, need good viewer base and I don’t know how to get that.

@Westernkings yes, its a very saturated area of the market. Thats why I need to know, how to gain more credibility over those other competitors.

@mixey Content is a key to success. But what am I going to do with the Key? I’ll need to find the door to success first right?
