Your still exvlusive until the 30 days has elapsed. Just wait the 30 days out then you can flip back to being exclusive.
The bundle 1/2 prices are also far too low as well IMO , and I actually pulled mine off the market this morning as I don’t think that my 16.5% cut (33% of 50% of the track prices) is a good return for myself.
A shopping cart has been ‘on the list’ for a long time too…but that’s another topic! LOL
I do like the idea of simply adding a couple of extra buttons to the purchase options to include template + music. I think that might even increase sales as it’s handing the option on a plate, rather than consumers having to faff around buying the music in a separate transaction.
Yes, actually, I retract my option of having a different license for this usage. Only five sales would be needed to make up the same amount as an extended license, and you can easily sell 50-100 with a half decent link up.
Yes, very disappointing as it mainly benefits the VH author with a small gain for the AJ author. I’d like to see either an additional license for the kind of usage (with a significant fee : 3-5 tines the current extended license fee) or linking the song with VH item si that the AJ author gets his FAIR cut of the fee. Failing that, it should just be disallowed altogether.
I don’t have anything to add to TacoMusic’s and Gareth’s post but what totally agree with what they are saying. I really hope well get a BIG shakeup on the licensing front very soon.
Nice track StudioEtude! Added
NovakZaniNovak – I’m sure there’s some great tracks in your collections but could you hand pick one or two tracks and I’ll gladly add one or two to the collection? Cheers!
Cheers ZdenekHoub. Keep the votes rolling in guys and gals!
I don’t think that’s a good deal for us, and as such I’ve just opted out of exclusive license sales for my items. I’ve only had one exclusive sale to date, so it not a negative for myself, and should prevent my work being resold without getting any further royalties.
