Keep your chin up. I’m in the same boat, probably worse. I just don’T understand the AJ marketplace. I have tracks that being used in big TV promos, including advertisements for X-Men films but here it’s dead asa door nail. Keep the faith. something will click into place soon.
Congrats Man. I wish you all the best! Post back with your results! Cheers!
bosone – Please join the back of the queue. I’ve been waiting for a year and a half. LOL
The question was for use on other marketplaces. “use watermarked audio preview to use for my projects in other marketplaces”
To this, no it’s no allowed but yes, you could use other peoples watermarked audio on YT (which isn’t marketplace) if you are an Envato author and it links back the Envato sites.
You might want to check through the archives, as this has been discussed many time in the past.
You are allowed to use watermarked previews only in the Envato marketplaces. If you wanted to use them on an external site, you would need to purchase a license. In neither case would you be able to sell the music as part of your projects. Potential customers would need to license the music tracks separately.
I hope that clears i tup.
Using samples is fine if they are just a small part of the song. If it’s just playing back pre-baked loops to make a song, that is disallowed on AJ as per their guidelines.
You need to be aware that BigFish audio do not allow their samples libraries to be used for ‘Stock music” so make sure you read the licenses and fully understand which ones you can use.
No, you aren’t allowed to delete and re-upload tracks as per the AJ rules, s this would lead to people gaming the system.
For me, it would be classed as the same ‘series’ so only one license would be needed but I think it would be based on the usage. How will the two versions be used?
Tip #80: Do a search on the forums before posting repeat questions for the umpteenth time (e.g. what DAW? Why $2 extra, ...)
