never said unity is flash.

flashedge pointed out that flash have 3D. I wanted to put things in perspective. I don’t think the people who develop unity have the resources of adobe but still they managed to somewhat, create a plugin that works in a browser but use the graphic card you have on your system.

now seriously, why every time one points some flaws (even minor ones) of flash, is immediately accused of treason?

You know guys, you can make 3d stuff with flash too… just pointing this out.

3d in flash is like playing with three years children toys if we compare with 3d in unity.

To your second question, you can use the free version. It’s what I use.

this forum is quite a clean place, sometimes it gets hot on certain arguments but usually the discussion is conducted in civilized manners, reflecting, I like to believe, the above average intelligence of the members.

Unfortunately the main weapon of mods around here, in the last few months was just to lock threads. A better way of handling small issue that may arise should be: erase the post that may contain offending words, personal attack and other unpleasant things and give a warning to the user who break the forum rules.

It appear to me that the mods just waited for some flame from an user to close a thread where many others debated as civil as possible an issue regarding the marketplace.

Well anyway, just saying.

First, in the help section of unity upload there’s a link to this page http://activeden.net/selling/upload-instructions/activeden-building-a-unitypackage about creating unity package. When it will be available?

Second, what type of license I need for unity, to upload on activeden? I can use the free version or I need to buy the pro version?

I like unity and sooner it will take the place of flash, better will be.

For example, if you download the unity 3 and install the boot camp demo you will get a clear picture of how advanced this software is and were adobe should had developed flash till now. True is, adobe just inserts some minor feature every time they launch a new version of flash, no real big steps forward.

Also as unity have not a proper code editor I downloaded the free MonoDevelop. Well if we compare Flash Builder code editor part with MonoDevelop we get again a clear picture of how adobe just messing around with they’re clients and software. Is hard to explain in words but programming in MonoDevelop is a better experience.

So the real question is:

What all this flash files are doing on the unity marketplace known as ActiveDen?
