I like cats, so my bet is that you can get like 10 – 12% more sales, but only if you have really nice cats. But for a boost of 200 – 300% more sales you need hot girls.

they do not sell enough licences to justify the cost of development for linux, or maybe they do sell but they need to cut research funds because of some financial crisis they have. Just a note: to a corporation like adobe a crisis may be if they sell couple of millions less than the year before, not necessary losing money or not making profit.

then we should not forget the fact that adobe, after the fight with apple had run to microsoft arms

Honestly I don’t think you have the guts do do that, because you’ll make a fool of yourself; also, it’s a bit offending saying that products sell only because they use girls in the preview.

Products do not sell only because of the use of nice images, girls or cats, but is very important to have good previews images that not every one have. You can’t deny the influence of those images on the potential buyer, else why do you use them yourself?

But yes having only nice images will not sell the item, this is true.
