first i have to say that i don’t understand the rejection of your printshop….higher resolutions shouldn’t be a problem. But if you wan’t to deliver a 300dpi file you could ask whether they would accept a pdf X3-File. In Illustrator you can save files as PDF X3 -Files. in the save-dialogue you can define the output resolution. this should do the trick…

I can’t believe some of the quality of files being accepted for the corporate flyers competition! As some of the the quality for other categories has been improved overtime, the recent uploads for some of the files for the corporate and business flyer competition is way below par. You have some files that are really high on quality and then theirs some that are just plain ordinary and no creative thought gone into them and they should probably be in the bargain basement!
