Hi ViggoBj, Please be aware that this is a global community and support is not manditory. I’m sure the author does support his items but it might take some time to receive a reply. In the meanwhile…if I understand you correctly you have no acces anymore to your admin panel? If so put up FTP acces to the themefolder and rename the active theme (which according to you messses up the lot) Wordpress will fall back to a previous active theme if I’m not mistaking. Hope this helps you out a little though it’s not a solution…

Have you tried the support forum of the website you are referring to? If it doesn’t work out for you that well you might considering buying a theme…..here

You are not paranoic, the html is almost identical in terms on structure and labels.
Also, this author has been accused (with valid reasons, enough to make him remove the copy he made) of obivous copycat while ago. Contact support.
I can’t understand why such authors can keep on uploading copies after a valid DMCA issue. I’m not telling that they should be blocked, but at least they should be reviewed carefully.

If you haven’t work with CMS before maybe it’s a good idea to install one just to try it out. That means without buying a theme at first. Wordpress and Joomla allow this (take a look at their websites) You wil download a package with instructions included. They are not that hard to walk through. Once you set your site up, see if you can handle it. If so you may want to buy a theme from here

Well basically, the more you want out of it the more you have to put into it. If you want to do it all by yourself there are lots of resources and tutorials to learn from. If you don’t want this, the alternative option is to hire someone to do it for you. Goodluck!
