no, I usually ask the author all i need to know before i make a purchase in order to avoid cases like these.

However if you contact the staff through support I’m sure they can give you more useful information. You never know, if you have a strong enough argument perhaps they can offer you credit back or something.

pretty much 99% of files here are AS2 as the site came out before AS3 was really released.

So you should expect the file to be AS2 unless it is stated AS3 …

authors who are uploading AS3 files (as it is new) specify in the title “AS3 Photo Gallery” or so forth…

but yeah… a little section that authors can specify weather a file is AS2 or AS3 would be nice i suppose… you can always leave a comment and ask the author before you buy it
