where is the featured authors / items located at?

Paypal has strict rules for digital downloads. I have my own shop where I sell ebooks and I’ve never had a chargeback due to PayPal strict rules against giving users their money back for digital goods. It is not Paypal who does the reversal, it’s Envato.

Does anyone know how we can turn off the promotional banners that appear at the top of the page for good? As a customer, I think it’d be a good idea to have a place where we can turn off all promo banners so they never appear.

It could be that it’s not the companies fault. Someone could have purchased the logo and used it for 3 different companies for a freelance logo project.

Is ThemeForest working on a more robust search functionality? I always feel like I hit a dead end while doing a search, plus this Karma Theme always shows up number 1 no matter what I search for. Seems a bit odd that a theme keep popping up that literally has nothing to do with the words I typed into the search bar. Be nice to have more filters options and things like that as well.

Haha, sad but so true my friend. People who download from pirate sites are dumb anyways. Perhaps if they contributed instead of stealing, there would be more authors giving away free resources, because instead of spending time sending DCMA’s they could be working on free resources for everyone to have.

It’s illegal to send marketing message without business address and opt out links as well.

This is 5th email I’ve received from ThemeForest authors where I have purchased their themes. I’ve never signed up for their emails and I’m getting sick and tired of being spammed by authors where I have purchased their templates. There needs to be a policy set in place or some kind of action taken on these authors who blatantly are against can-spam compliance.

Here’s a copy of the email I just received, no opt out link, no address where the company is from, and I never signed up for this crap. Should be banned in my opinion for unethical business practices.
