Had the same deal with a 2 minute track ending with 3 seconds of tail. shrug it off and keep it moving.
Tipe #20: Invest in a good set of monitors and “learn” them. It will change your life.
paperswan saidBeen like this since Feb of last year and was an intentional change by the devs. At that time the algorithm that brought back the results by “relevance” changed from whatever it was before to weighing the title more. Authors were understandably worried and expressed concern about it then. Check out this thread for more info: (I linked to page 9 as it contains a staff response on the matter.) http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/search-system-works-strange-again/60009?page=9
So, tags in fact useless now? How it’s work? I mean, search “melancholy”. First result is “Dream Sonata”, but other contain “melancholy” in their names. So, it’s better to make a song title “epic drama powerful ukulele” then something like “Morning sunshine” ? Sorry, i’m so new.
I have a MOTIF Rack XS. Its pretty sweet as it has its own VST software to use for selection editing, voice management. I use it sparingly for layering. There’s some good stuff in it but I could do without it.
Doesnt matter. They rarely reply anyway lol. Or maybe its just me :/
Yes on the old tracks. I had an extended license for a track I just about deleted last week. Also i’ve noticed a lot of of buyers really dont care to have money deposited and are more than willing to take the $2 hit for using a CC.
Crazy stuff they got going on there.
Im watching
Just dumb
Props to you sir. Much continued success.
Mihai_Sorohan saidThat’s ridiculous….
I got a request to make a file once, made it, uploaded it here on AJ, the guy who asked me to make it bought it, and then BAM! a 3 or 4 stars rating.
I ask him if he likes the file, he says is fine, I ask him if the file fit his project or need some customizing, he says “no. it’s perfect”, then I ask “why did you rate it so low then?”.
His answer was something like “I never give the maximum rating”. Go figure.
