Hi guys,

I am almost at the point of submitting my first wordpress theme and I have got everything ready but there is just one bit I’m slightly confused about.

For the live preview, the Themeforest Wordpress upload instructions say:

Live previews are not online at this time. However you must include this file so that your item will have a live preview in the future. Your live preview theme is a working set of theme files to be installed on a demo server to demonstrate the theme. It should be a ZIP file of the entire theme folder. This will be automatically installed on a demo server so ensure it’s completely ready to go.

but I have noticed that most the authors on here host live previews on their own sites so I have done the same. Do i just include a link or something to my live preview?

couldn’t you just wrap the list in a div with the class “starlist” like this:

<div class="starlist" 
    <ul>
        <li>Lorem ipsum dolor</li>
        <li>Lorem ipsum dolor</li>
        <li>Lorem ipsum dolor</li>
    </ul>

and then just set the list type of .starlist

Also kayapati im not entirely sure but I think you have to remove either the wpautop filter or the wptexturize filter as it is those that add all the bits and pieces to the code. If you goodle them you should be able to find something

Its amazing how these small changes can make such a big difference. I really like the green now.

One thing I still would pay attention to is the slider arrow controls. They still look a bit plain and could be improved fairly easily.

Can’t really see what more you can do to get it approved. Alignment seems good to me and it should be fine if you have used the 960 grid system.

Im pretty sure this would definitely get approved as a wordpress theme. But that’s a lot more work

I think the other guys have got it pretty bang on in terms of what need to be changed with the design.

The only thing I would say is where you have the image holder with the “Some Great Image” in it actually find a great image to put in it for the demo haha. Easy to do, but I think it would improve the demo.
