@Anps & graphic_dev – you are absolutely right!

Anyway, thanks to all you authors who have replied. Here is another very interesting video which is showing the current inflation (which is also being exported allover the world):

increasing prices is definetely the wrong way! they’re great the way they are, affordable!

Agree, BUT authors have to be awarded too, or else we will have to look for other options.

Tnx for your comment anyway.

Increased prices also mean even more less sales.

Did you see the video in the 1st comment? Dolar losing value is a trend that will very likely continue and something will have to be done sooner or later.

I have a question for the staff and would also like to know, what other envato members, authors think of this.

Dollar is again losing value, and belive me, it will continue, since Ben Bernanke (chairman of the Federal Reserve, the central bank of the US) recently announced that it will print dollars (massively) with no end in sight. Check Peter Schiff on that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8Fxn4of1dg

This can only mean inflation and dollar further losing value toward other currencies, such as Euro, where I live. This also means we authors are loosing on sales and we are getting less and less for what we produce here!

My opinion there are two options:

1. prices should be adjusted for inflation, they should be increased

2. or better, currency should be switched to a more stable one

I am asking what is Envato going to do about that? I think this is a topic that should be discussed and resolved as it is very important for many of us authors.

Thank you

With dollar falling, loosing value in recent days (and belive me, it will continue), price should be going UP not down! It´s not fun, to give away hard work and files for almost free.

Update – I’ve gotten word from the devs that this is indeed a planned feature, however, there is currently no timeline.

Thank you for all your responses. However in my personal opinion, this should be a TOP priority issue, it affects usability in a massive way.

This would be a name of file, for example: “56347762.jpg”, and when this number was placed into search, image would pop up.

Hey there,

very satisfied with Photodune, but I have a comment regarding image search. Is it possible you implement the possibility to search the image by file name, code?

The problem is, that it is very hard to find pictures again, once I saved them to my computer. Example. I am making a website design, and I look for a bunch of mockup pictures to use with it. Client approves it, but it is a problem to find theese pictures again, since naming is not properly set. Author gives some random, not searcheable, name.

You probably know that, but at various other PhotoStock sites, I can simply paste the number code (filename) of the picture in the search field and image gets found.

It would be great to have this feature here. I use it a lot, and I bet lots of others do too.

Cheers!
