Secondly, I would say you should upload as Summer is a peak time for sales just like winter too. Yes, many are not getting enough sales but not uploading would do you more harm than good. Bad enough it takes about 12 days to get an item approved, waiting longer will not help.

Yes it’s possible, however, after making the edit you will need to wait 48 hours till you can make further edits.

The devs are working hard on other more significant features why bother them with something that can be done with a single click, they don’t even take space. As a buyer I would look forward to such promotions, why would you want to close them?
