Yeah, I’m wondering that too but I need to wait atleast 3 days in a “que” before they even start migrating my sites and after that, it can take up to a day or more or so the support guy said.

Is it just because the livepreview? If so relax and tell your buyers that the livepreview is temporary offline

Yeah, it happened due to the influx of visitors and running processes. I’m currently having a chat with the host support so I hope they can assist me.

If you purchase a VPS from someone you should get a dedicated ip, so you can direct users to that ip directly.. The migration for one theme shouldn’t take you more than 2-3 hours.. And then continue with it as you can..

Problem is that my host (Hostgator) doesn’t provide immediate migration services and I need to wait in a que for a few days. My main concern is that my themes will be offline during that time and it can’t be any worse timing than at the time of a new theme release. If there are any migration specialists here, send me a message.

Hi everyone,

We are currently experiencing issues with our server after publishing a new theme and we may need to upgrade to a VPS hosting package. The problem is that we never had these issues during testing and I’m wondering if it’s allowed by Envato to disable or remove the theme entirely just temporarily to upload at a later date when the server migration has processed. I absolutely hate to do this but at this point it seems there is no other way. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Sorry Travis, but it’s still unclear to me and frankly doesn’t answer my questions. Do I need to wait for the licensing gurus?

Thanks @ SR! Man, that is quite confusing! I just received an email from Kingdog saying he would try to get some advice from one of the Licensing gurus so if they happen to read this thread, here are a few questions.

1. Are we able to use fullscreen photography that is subtly altered in Photoshop (filters, color changes etc.) at a size greater than 1000px?

2. As ShapingRain asked, how does this apply to retina-ready devices?

@ShapingRain,

Where did you get that info from by the way? I have checked the licensing but it doesn’t say anything about images that can’t be larger than 1000×1000.

10.You can’t use an Item in a digital format at a resolution greater than 1200×800 pixels, unless the Item is incorporated into a digital product (like a website design) such that the Item can’t be extracted.
