first time I completely disagree with you… first of all, envato is using a free flash video player, which only plays flv’s… do you think HTML5 is the future? No, cause it’s still in his diapers, it’s not ready yet, and the features it has work not on all browsers….. with flash it does!

Vimeo is using flash, I don’t know what you set up on your account, but Vimeo has Flash as video standard, and it works like a charm

also Youtube decided to go back and use Flash instead of HTML5

HTML5 video players suck, I saw some on codecanyon…. they even have no fullscreen, only a resize function… I also despite that there is a HD feature

the question is that yes, vimeo has a flash player, but you can upload many format, many codecs, hd…videohive restricts to use only .flv videos, and flv is the DAEMON !

i’ve found the mistake! That are the reflections applied on the boolean model. If i disactive them, render speeds up 10 times faster!

maybe some of your settings in vray are to high or incorrect (don’t know vray i use c4d) correct me if i’m false but you would render 900 hours currently.

hmm don’t know. The same thing also happens without vray, with the standard full render of C4D and standard materials. Probably it’s the scene, that has a lot of lights, infinite poligons, global illumination…

I should render by layers, but i can’t find the function like in studiomax

Try to render a small resolution of your project to see how it looks and whether there is a need for adjustments and improvements. If everything in small resolution is ok, you can render the real size, and do not forget to take a large popcorn box when you click on the render button

the funny thing is that i’m just rendering in a small res! i don’t want to think when i’ll press the render button for the 1920×1080 res!

...you’re working on a project that requires a render in 3d vray and you realease that are 30 min for frame? and are 1800 frames? it’s frustrating! and after all this time, i will not sure that all it’s ok, probably i’ve failed something and i’ll need to render again!

He was probably doing commercial for somebody and he bought your file and sold him the video. Thats the point of videohive xD

In the last days (about a month) i noticed a decrement of the sales, in general of all the new projects. I don’t think is something about the quality, cause many projects are very very stylish and good (for example, the last of inlifethrill, or deep blue, that maybe in past it should has saled many times, but now is 0!).

So i ask you:

1)Did you have noticed also this decrement?

2)if it is, what do you think is reason? quaity? world crisis? the increase of the projects that subdivides the sales? other?

I was considering to buy some stock footage like fitness and sports for the video preview of my project on VH, but i’d like to know a thing before i purchase them. If i buy these clips with man playing gym, or baseball (from i don’t know, artbeats, toolfarm or any other site offers this product), what i must to put in the model release? because we talking about people in clips

- If you’re buying a footage with recognizable face in it from them – they have to provide model release for you.

- If you’re using this only in your preview – you don’t need a model release for your project.

- if you’re making footage yourself with a recognizable human face in it and plan to sell it – you have to provide model release with it and have to include it in the main zip.

ok ok, my intention is to use em only for the video preview…so not model release.
