@Reaper – Ideally, we want there to be a distinction between the free sites and the Premium one.
@Andrew – That’s no good. I’ll let Tash know.

Validation is very important – just not for the reasons most people think. You should use it to spot true errors and typos in your CSS + markup.
Beyond that, the score means nothing. Disregard it.

It’s absolutely something that should be remedied. I suppose it just takes time to work its way up in the dev queue.
I do believe that the WordPress auto-update functionality is progressing nicely though. Hopefully, it won’t be too much longer.

All WordPress theme PHP is GPL , so, if you want, you can technically use it.
That said, we do have an invisible guideline that you shouldn’t be distasteful when using bits of code from your fellow authors. Don’t be obnoxious and copy and paste code verbatim.

Hey guys -
Honestly, when I was the manager of CodeCanyon, my instinct was to restrict these sorts of items. It was my worry that the marketplace would become flooded with “packs.”
At this point, though, I think, as long as the author can argue why a pack of his items is beneficial, then it’s okay to have it on the marketplaces. The key is to ensure that the items in the pack are cohesive and make sense together.

I don’t think this is something worth arguing about. A well known author just joined the Tuts+ marketplace. Let’s welcome them, rather than complain.

We use it all through Envato.
I must admit, though, I’m not as much a fan of it as I initially was.
Ideally – here is all I need…
A program like Wunderlist that gives me the ability to create a special task list, where every task I create immediately shows up in a specified team member’s list as well. When he completes the task, it updates on my end as well.

Hey Dave – Some of the American staff is in Melbourne right now, so you all might be able to arrange for drinks one night or something.
Drew, Lance, and Jarel are up there for the month I believe.

Yes – you can. Just as long as they aren’t included in the downloadable source code.
