Things like this are what makes this marketplace such a great community. Authors helping other authors, even though technically we are all in competition.
Thanks Ivor, greatly appreciated.
Possibly a problem with the first one: the ‘elite’ bit looks like some freakish arm extension? Again repeating what the guys said above – reduce some of those details down.
Try, with the car, to separate the text from the logo completely as that would look nice as a mark on it’s own (the proximity to the words might not help your case). Post more!
Thats a good news. Please save us google xD
Problem is this heard of giraffes in particular just move on to a new patch after ever takedown. It’s like giraffes in a hall of mirrors… I’m not sure if it is a heard or just one multiplied 10 fold.
How’s the notes post coming along guys? I have no idea what to do and, to be honest, I have no idea what you guys are going to say on the subject…
Is this still alive? I haven’t seen FreshFace around recently here or Twitter* and the FreshKiller forum is down. In light of recent events I’d really like to get into using this app.
A native Mac app would be superb – yeah yeah I know bootcamp etc etc but I live a Windows free life
*everyone’s entitled to a holiday now and then don’t get me wrong!
Thanks to a couple of you for explaining the hidden, disheartening, meaning of this thread.
Can someone send me a message/tweet explaining what this is all is? I’m genuinely curious but have literally no idea what you guys are on about.
Some good vibes coming from you Valonr. However I would go even further and add that some files in certain categories still lack quality, basic design fundamentals and still get accepted! Especially in the Magazines category.
Ha, don’t we know it! None of us should just be working to pass the bar, we should strive to surpass it by a long long way.
Great attitude Valonr, keep practicing and you’ll be competition for the greats in no time.
Dribbble: you have to be invited to post your work but you can join and follow others without being invited. You don’t have to be a pro to post work – normal and pro users both get 24 shots a month to post.
Being a pro ($20~ year) gets you a handful of perks, like full stats and hire-me status etc.
Best place to learn what Dribbble is and how it works is their FAQ : http://dribbble.com/site/faq
Give me a shout if anyone would like to know more about it! I’m on Dribbble here http://dribbble.com/JackHowell
