It’s just me or everyone notice that with time, and growth on sales, developing time is getting smaller and smaller and support time is growing.
I mean I spend 3-4 hours a days, for offering support, answering emails, making customizations , 2-3 hours developing new themes and 1-2 hours learning new design techniques and improving coding and programming. This when I have a full working day.
Just out of curiosity from the great elite authors outhere, is this true ? I mean I will end up answering emails all day and offering support and customizations ? I really want to concentrate on developing and learning.
I know I can hire someone for support, but for now we cannot afford one.
A great milestone for us, the Gold paw.
Like any other user that have passed this we just want to say:
1. Big thanks to all the buyers that got our items.
2. Envato you rock, making us living a nice dream.
3. Thanks to the great authors here for inspiring us with each amazing item they create.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !!!
Thank you Envato and your customers for making this happen and for this great year.
He’s living the dream
How about us the authors from each corner of the world sending postal christmas cards to envato office, and they build a nice big wall with all of them
Or maybe make some kind of a small contest: - authors who want to join will submit to a form - from that submissions randomly will be chosen pairs of 2 authors who will send to each other secret gifts (a specific price set before like around 20-30…$)
If the contest is still on, I am in. Just following you on twitter.
Considering that we are working on our new identity we would like to compete with our new logo mockup. Don’t know if this will be the final screenshot post there, but it will be for sure this concept.
That is a super duper idea
Also if we could rent/share/swap our places to other authors will be a nice idea.
I could share/swap a mountain cabin I am working on to finish it soon. It’s quite near a decent ski slope, where you could ski or snowboard.
Would be amazing to travel to other author locations. I am totally in for this.
For me a walk in the nature always is the best inspiration place. Also traveling to places I never was before. Finding new interesting locations will always help you grow your imagination.
After that architecture is my second choice as inspiration. Clean spaces, different textures for buildings, wood combine with glass, metal, ceramic, and all of that is helping me find new ideas.
From nature and architecture you can also select the best colors combinations and textures for any project.
Thanks for this explanations Parker, I really appreciate it.
