We had a tiny sprinkling of snow yesterday and it’s freezing here in the south of England.

I’m waiting for 4 Lego models to be accepted at the moment so I would be up for a Lego competition!

on Turbo Squid they don’t seem to have a problem with uploading branded items.

I’m not too sure that you can. I asked about doing an IKEA furniture range and wasn’t aloud to. Also with my Cigarette packet and lighter model I had to remove the Marlboro lights image I had used to texture the packet with.

I have seen that someone has uploaded a model of an iphone and it’s just been named as ‘touchscreen phone’.

It’s for use in a game. The members that have asked about it both use Unity 3D. Are you familiar with this program? Could you give me a rough number of polys my pool table should be for use in a game?

If have been asked by 2 people now if they could have a low poly version of my Pool Table model. Is there anyway that I can convert the existing model into a low poly model without having to model it again?

Also does anyone know how to export .obj files from Cinema 4D 10? I’ve looked through all the menus and can’t find the option for this.

My weekend starts in 5 hours! I don’t have much planned. Apart from sorting out some boring stuff for my new flat, like bills, council tax, rent blah blah blah. Also going to be cleaning and sorting it out and searching for an internet and TV provider ( any suggestions welcome ).

I might get myself a bottle of wine and just chill and try to finish off some more 3D models for 3D Ocean.

I would seriously love to come over but unfortunately got a lot of things to save up for this year as I’ve moved into my first flat. America is an amazing place though, my first time to America was in June last year and I spent 3 weeks in Miami and drove down to Key West for the night. It was awesome!

If you guys come to the UK I would definitely be up for coming to a meeting.
