Yes, I also had the same problem with FireFox but it worked fine in Chrome.
OK that makes sense, it’s not useful in the homepage. I’ll fix that in an update.
Well now it was accepted but what would you have changed? Thanks for the answers.
WOW , now that’s impressive! ...and awesome XD
your answer is in your own post.
Ok. I was just looking for something more specific but thanks
Hello guys,
I was just wondering if you could write your opinions on a template I just finished. You can preview one of the skins here.
I submitted it and got rejected for these reasons:
1. Overall is nice. 2. But the page title and the breadcrumb look weird in that position. And it needs a better styling and alignment.
What specific elements do you think need improvement? And what do you think of the header and breadcrumbs?
Thanks in advance
Actually IE7 has :hover and your solution is a good one.
Yes but I think it doesn’t support :focus, and I think that’s more important in a form. Anyways it’s not such a big deal, just a subtle background change.
Thank you all for your replies
@arriba: Yes, actually the problem is because the background doesn’t repeat, if you have something with repeat-x, it’s ok.
Well yes, I also thought the background div isn’t that bad at all. Only IE7 won’t have :hover or :focus changes.
Yes…stupid IE…
No sorry, I’m testing on XAMPP . Forgot to mention that…
Hello guys,
I’m working on a new template and ran into a problem that you may know:
My search input has a sprite as background for the different states. Everything looks good in all browsers except for a bug in IE7 . If you enter some long text, the background will move as the width is exceeded and it looks pretty awful.
I already goggled something and found that adding
background-position:bottom right;partially solves the problem.
Do you know a better fix? I’m about to just wrap everything in a div and add the background to that but maybe you know something better.
Thank you
